Russ Taff Albums To Be Released in Japan

(Tokyo)-Two of pop/rock singer Russ Taff's 1980's era classic albums are set to be released in the mainstream Japanese music market this fall. Released on the MJM/Cool Sound label in Japan.

Medals first released in 1985 and Walls of Glass released in 1983 will debut in the Japanese pop music market nearly 20 years after their original U.S. releases.

"I am very excited to have my CD's released in the Japanese market," commented Taff.

"What makes these records so important is that Russ helped shape a genre and give direction to many younger artists to follow," noted MJM's Mark Joseph.

Taff a 30-year music business veteran is eager to gauge Japanese response to his records: "I hope that everyone (in Japan) will embrace my music. I look forward to the possibility of one day touring Japan," he said.
