MJM Produces Song For Sagawa Express

(Los Angeles) Utilizing the talents of jazz singer Alphonso Freeman, MJM in association with 30th Company produced a song for Sagawa Express, one of Japan's top express delivery services.

Recorded at the famed Conway Studios in Los Angeles, the track, "What You Need," will be featured in a commercial for the company which will begin airing in April. Freeman also appeared in the commercial playing the piano.

"Alphonso is a talented singer who mixes jazz, R&B and Gospel stylings," noted Mark Joseph who co-produced the song. "His voice was exactly what we were looking for. We look forward to working with him again."

"It was a pleasure to work on this project with Mark and the production team," noted Freeman. "Everyone was so professional and helpful. Naturally, I try to come in as prepared as possible; and since I wasn't sure who I would be working with it was doubly important. I greatly appreciate Mark's help and input into this process. His ideas and ability to traverse the language barrier between English and Japanese was invaluable, to say the least, and made the project a great success."

Freeman, the son of actor Morgan Freeman, is a veteran musician who recently released a CD, "I Want To Believe."
