British Singer/Songwriter Chris Eaton's CD's Released In Japan

(Tokyo)-Two of award winning artist/songwriter Chris Eaton's albums will soon make their way to Japanese music fans on the MJM label. The deal, which originated in mid-March of 1999, reached a conclusion in late March of 2000.

"This one was a challenge," notes MJM's Ric Rodeheaver who coordinated the release, "because some of the masters were with a company in the U.K and some were with another company in Nashville and they were released in the late '80's and mid 90's respectively. Tracking all of this down was a challenge."

The albums, Vision and Crusin' made their way into retail shops in Japan on December 10th.

Toshi Nakada, founder of MJM's partner Cool Sound, a longtime fan of Eaton's was excited about the deal: "I was very anxious to get these records," he noted. "It was well worth the wait."

"Chris Eaton has a lot of fans in Japan who have picked up his record in import stores," noted MJM's Mark Joseph. "Finally, Japanese fans will be able to pick up a Japanese domestic pressing of Chris's record complete with translated lyrics on the J-card and Japanese liner notes. We were excited to be a part of the process and happy to see his music and message make its way into the mainstream music scene."
