Japanese Market

With an extensive network of contacts in the Japanese business and political communities, MJM has helped a variety of U.S. companies enter the lucrative Japanese market. For companies contemplating entering the market€“ whatever the business structure it is crucial that the initial steps and decisions be well considered and carefully executed. We begin by working with our clients to understand their business, service, product or technology. Once we have a clear understanding of the strategic fit in Japan, we then work with the client to develop and execute a plan of entry that is custom tailored for each client’s needs. Initial plan execution often involves identifying a Japanese partner or an initial customer.

Our activities do not end upon completion of an agreement between client and partner, however, as we continue to work with our clients as they transition past the initial honeymoon period and encounter the realities of operating a business in Japan
